Lactodorum
Yay!! I'm leaving the world of reviewing behind for a week of Golfing in Majorca then a couple of weeks relaxing/walking/geocaching etc. in Northumberland. This means I won't be accessing the Internet/e-mails for about 3 weeks from Friday this week. Can I ask that you send any queries to poor old hard working Eckington I'm sure he'll be only too delighted to help. I should be back in circulation on the 30th of this month. I'm sorry if this causes anybody inconvenience (well not really ) but I'm going anyway. Quote Link to comment
+John Stead
Have a nice time! May the greens all run true and the caches be free of muggles. Quote Link to comment

SlytherinAlex
Yay!! I'm leaving the world of reviewing behind for a week of Golfing in Majorca. While you are there, nip next door and check this cache out. It's a "holiday" "virtual" by some seedy guy called dodgydaved. He should have his knuckles wrapped for this one. Quote Link to comment
+Cave Troll and Eeyore
Enjoy your holiday. You deserve it Quote Link to comment

Minorca, surely, not Majorca and I believe arrangements were made wiith his 2 brothers in law and 2 sisters in law , who live not 8 miles from the location, to keep an eye outr and let him know if the plaque changed.............. SlytherinAlex
..........................? Minorca, surely, not Majorca I did say "next door". I'm still hoping to get the opportunity to bag that one on Minorca as it was dedicated to us in the first place. I'm a supporter of holiday virtuals myself as this cache shows. Sometimes in the more remote parts of the world having a few caches started by tourists can encourage the locals to start participating. I know the "official" view doesn't agree with mine but that's life. As long as there are friends, relatives or Giorgos to look after them then there should be no problem. The eastern part of Crete is very short of caches although a few "holiday" caches have slipped through the net recently. We are off there in a couple of weeks and I'm hopeful that I can persuade my pal over there to agree to either placing a few caches or being custodian of some that I can get hidden. - Edited September 8, 2004 by SlytherinAlex Quote Link to comment
+MarcB
Alex has a point, my first ever find was in Madeira (very boring place, don't go). Saying that it wasn't the best ever... it was hidden in a small rubbish dump! MarcB Quote Link to comment
+Eckington
Hi Guys, I have arranged with old Lactod that his mail re caching should come to me whilst he is away. I will try to continue to review all caches as quickly as you have become used to but the load will obviously be almost douoble, and as some of you know when I started this little task I was on long term sick leave, I am now back working full time in a residential school and you may find that some times the caches take a little longer to review and the queries a little longer to answer, especially as with many of Lactod's new initiatives with the FC requiring more correspondance. However IWDMB and its only for 3 weeks Cheers and Cache Well Eckington Quote Link to comment
+Simply Paul
Hey, don't knock Madeira. I had my best ever holiday there. Mind you, my girlfriend at the time and I were the youngest people in our hotel by a clear 40 years... Not a great location if you're into clubbing and beaches. SP Quote Link to comment
