+craziecacher
Just wondered if there are any 12-step programs in the Tn area for geo-addicts; if anyone knows of one, please e-mail me the coords Also would like to know if attendance @ one of the meetings can be logged as a find. I am asking for a fellow cacher- he knows who he is Quote Link to comment
+Robespierre
There is no cure, and only one treatment. Good cachin'. Quote Link to comment
+Spencersb
Just quit! It's easy, I quit three times in the past two days alone. Whaddaya mean "Going home doesn't count?" There's no caches there (yet...) Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
You don't say which part of TN, but in Middle TN there are the meetings of the Middle TN Geocachers Club that might work. If you can't make it, attendance of this Saturday's CI/TO would suffice. Either one can be logged as a find if you're present and participating. But since our top fifteen most prolific members have a combined hide+find count of about 30,000, we may not be the best to direct a 12 step program. :-) Quote Link to comment
+sis
that's a 2 for 1 at mill creek's cito. " trash bags #3 is traveling" will be there. ~sis Quote Link to comment

+craziecacher
Thanks, Kayakanimal- that's not exactly in my back yard, but I appreciate the idea!! There is one geocache here that is dangerously close to the state mental institution- (WHAT IN BLUE BLAZES) as I was looking for it, I got VERy suspicious that it was a trap for addicted cachers- turned out to be innocuous... +Charles Street Gang
My name is **** and I am a geocacher...sound familiar? Edited September 19, 2004 by Charles Street Gang Quote Link to comment
+craziecacher
I love It, C.S.G.! Don't forget when you address the support group have your head hung down , avoid eye-contact with the group- especially the facilitator- and when giving your name, use your "real-life" name-not your caching alias . All attendees will be checked at the door for GPS units... Quote Link to comment
+BackBrakeBilly
As for me and thinking that craziecacher might just be in a way thinking about my name when she started this mess, I WILL NEVER GIVE UP! Yes I am addicted and I am proud to say that! Geocaching has done alot for me including getting me off the couch, getting me to go places I would have never visited, learning alot of history that I would have never knew and one of the best things it has done has led me to meet some of the best friends a person could ever have and y'all know who I am talking about! Why in the world would anyone in their right mind want to give all that up??? In this changing world we live in I can think of alot of things alot worse to be addicted to so I reckon I will just stay addicted to caching as long as there are caches to be found! YES I AM AN ADDICT AND I AM PROUD TO SAY IT!!! oh yea....1292 finds in less than 9 months including 67 FTF's and 140 caches placed and still going!
