+KenJamin
I have a fellow cacher who has accompanied me a number of times but has never had a username on the site. He now wants to place his own cache and was wondering if he can still log all the caches we did together? That would be going back to 2001! Any guidence is appreciated Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
There is no "Rule" for this yet. It would be nice if he could log accuratly the date he did the cache. However if he did find them, logging them under his new geocaching name is perfectly valid. As kids grow up I suspect this will happen more often for really old caches. Quote Link to comment
+SixDogTeam
It would be nice if he could log accuratly the date he did the cache. Just have him log all his finds next to your logs on each cache page, using the date you both found them. Including in your log an explanation that you are logging under your new separate account would be a courtesy to the cache owner. Go for it! Quote Link to comment
