+OzGuff
Wanderlust needs to get a job! I just logged on to the forums to post the exact same message! With the Tube Torcher and High Water! caches in western North Carolina I assume all the extreme cachers will soon be beating paths to our doors... Looks like Nuwati and I -- who have been talking about placing a 5/5 cache should get on with it! Thanks to johnboy.nc for placing this awesome cache! And to Laughing Moon, Wanderlust and Nuwati for allowing this old(er) cacher to tag along! Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Western North Carolina isn't the only place you will find this type of cache. Just north of Raleigh you can tackle Earth, Wind Fire, and Water, inspired of course by nctreker's find at Tube Torcher. Quote Link to comment
wanderlust
Here is another one inspired by Tube Torcher. This one is located not too far from Charleston, SC. It sounds like a doozy based on the cache report and logs! Sissy's Snarky Walk #1 Wanderlust Quote Link to comment

+JackCacheNC
Anyone know the condition of the cache since the recent floods in western NC?? Quote Link to comment
+OzGuff
Anyone know the condition of the cache since the recent floods in western NC?? If you are referring to the High Water! cache I would think it is entirely fine! Now Tube Torcher is a different thing entirely! Do NOT attempt TT during/after high rains! Quote Link to comment
+johnboy
JohnBoy here - High Water! has not been damaged by all the flooding. One near miss with a downed tree, but it is up(!) and running... Quote Link to comment
CrotalusRex and Mimichan
Tube Torcher survived the floods...the clues and and final cache container were unharmed...however, the cache container itself did flood the logbook was ruined as well as most of the other contents of the cache. IndianaLee and I will be cleaning up and restocking the cache today... Cheers, CrotalusRex Edited October 9, 2004 by CrotalusRex and Mimichan Quote Link to comment
