+Mr. 0
I remembered that we had discussed this a while back on the Central Ohio Geocachers board. I figured the thread got pruned, but it didn't. Here's the list of the only ones we could come up with. It seems they are either not in Ohio (but neighboring states at least) or they don't REQUIRE 4 wheel drive. On some of them it seems like a good idea, or people had fun using 4wd, but it's just not a requirement. 13 Mile Creek. In WV Take it and Break it. In Michigan I've been on these trails with a Jeep club I'm affiliated with. . Actually the folks who placed this cache are the ones who introduced me to Geocaching. Anyhow, I've never found the cache, since I was riding shotgun all day, but the trails were a lot of fun. They're mostly large open areas with huge mud pits, but there are some smaller trails in the woods. In order to drive on the trails you'll need to purchase a MI ORV pass. Search and Rescue. Southern Ohio The Willows. Salt Fork State Park, Ohio Last of the Moonvillians. Zaleski State Forest area, Ohio. I hope that helps a little bit. The only one I can personally vouch for it Take it and Break it. The others were just suggestions from other folks, and I've never visited the caches. Quote Link to comment
