I just talked to my wife on the phone and she says we have a note from UPS!! I knew this was a bad week to let her out of house.

Wow... A note???

They just left mine on the porch...

Yeah - They've left more expensive stuff on the porch. I was quite surprised. And not too happy :P

WaaaaaAAAAAAAaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I was verily the NINTH to place an order and haven't whined a peep til now...

But I simply CAN'T STAND IT ANY LONGER.

Could you pretty please check that my 5 precious have been sent to my hovel - right here in Seattle?

And they better not take my stapler either. I was told I could listen to the radio at a reasonable level.

:D<_<;);):D;);););):D:mad::mad::mad::P:P:P:P

LOL BM - thanks for lightening up these dark days whilst fidgeting for the precious.

Woo-hoo! My coins are here! (Errr... well, mine and RomulusNR's) they're so pretty and shiny! <_<

Now we just have to fight over which one of us gets #74! ;)

Thanks LucyandRickie!

Amazing how fast UPS is from Redmond to Federal Way... the package was "origin scanned" at 8:37 last night and I got it in under 14 hours!

Would that be this:

stapler?? <_<

p.s. I love that movie! I've lived that movie ;)

Edited to stay sort of on topic. We got coin #12 and you'll have to pry that one out of my cold dead hands.

Yeah right...

Trivia: The red Swingline stapler that Milton was so afraid of having taken away was never actually manufactured by the Swingline company; it was instead painted red by a crew member in the props department. However, following the movie's success on video as a cult film, the demand for red Swingline staplers (apparently as a symbol of quiet rebellion among cubicle-bound employees) was so great that the company began to sell the red Swingline stapler on its website.

I know it is off-topic, yet very funny.

Peace, Nolenator

Darn. Another day's UPS delivery has came and no coins again. <_<

I'm getting killed in the great delivery day lotto.

Why didn't I just drive to Tacoma Saturday night. Argh, I'm mad at myself....

Just got my coins delivered about ten minutes ago. They look great.

I got #99! Sweet!

The rest will become FTF prizes around here.

Thanks again to everyone involved!

Oh well, I have a reason to get out of bed tomorrow.

Bull Moose you mood is a little depressing, but let me tell ya it's good for a laugh!

Keeping up with you today has kept me on the floor laughing. ;)

Your precoius coins will arrive soon, i'm sure of it.

Yeah. An extra day or two shouldn't make any difference. (But it does!!!!! ;) ;) )

I just hope they're here before the weekend. And so does Joe Frog. One of those coins has a long trip to the opposite corner of the country after it gets in my hands, and it could use the weekend to travel.

Bull Moose,

Rumor is that your UPS Man is busy searching for Ferry Cache I - Seattle to Bremerton and isn't having any luck

<_<

Yeah. He may be out awhile then. I have the new container sitting at home, I need to bring it down there and get some new coords....

Checkin' in from the Santa Cruz area in CA - got mine today.

Woo hoo!

Was lucky enough to score #10 - dare I say......."it's Precious!"

We lovez them and nobody will ever take the Precious from us again!!

Great big thanks - from both of us <_< .

The UPS guy brought me my coins today. Or should I say, almost all of my coins today. The list says I should have gotten #50 and #215-237. Guess which one never made it into the package?

I sure hope #50 is still sitting in L&R's house somewhere.

;)<_<

Got ours today. Very attractive coin, much better looking in person than the two dimensional photo that we purchased from. Kudo's to the crew that made this happen. <_< Really like the, epoxy? coating covering the 3-D mountain design.

One question, are these trackable on GC from cache to cache? And...One more, after activating on WGC, then what? To log the coin, the page asks me where it was found. (Inside my screen door doesn't cut it.)

Hey Moose, Good news people in California are getting theirs. Well I guess you and I doomed till at least tomarrow. I hope tomarrow's trip to the mail box wont be as depressing as today <_<

Posted

I've felt like an expectant father the last few weeks wondering how the coins would turn out. I finally got my hands on an actual coin yesterday. ;)<_< They really look nice. The depth of field on the front of the coin is great! The epoxy cover definitely enhances the 3-D effect.

<_< Don't normally get too vocal in these things, but these are NIIIIICE coins. Congratulations on the design - unparalleled. #11 goes in the collection.

BTW, anyone interested in trading something for a uniquely numbered Canadian? Like #0666. Forgot where I got it, but my wife won't let me keep it. I'm sure it's not a problem, but it occasionally takes on a strange glow..... If no one's interested, I may need to donate it to the trove of some devil-worshipping rock band or another.

Alas, UPS has not graced my doorstep today with a package. Hope I get an interesting low number (if I get a low number one, there's only... 100 of those).

No coins for us today yet either , but I understand how that can work knowing that Bremerton is so much further away than California. Maybe tomorrow they can make it across the sound. Not whining just very inpatient.

Yeah, and Seattle even further than both...

If my precious don't show up manana, there's surely gonna be some serious

WWWwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!! here, let me tell ya.

If somebody's package shows up with coin #50 you'll recieve tons of good karma if you forward it to it's intended owner - Me!

Let me know if it inadvertantly got packed with your order - my order was one coin short

No hard feelings to L&R - They had 1500 coins to deal with - so far the error rate is .05% or so.
