+CYBret Posted August 23, 2004 Share Posted August 23, 2004 Awww, thanks. I opened up the Midwest forum and was surprised to see this! You guys made me smile. The nicest part about my last couple of milestone caches has been being able to do them with the support of so many friends. For my 500th cache, RiverExplorer and GratefulMike and NaviBear all wrote me encouraging me to do the same cache and Strohem accompanied me to make sure I didn't break my fool neck. For my 600th I had a couple conversations and emails from those who had either found the cache or attempted the cache and again Strohem came along too (it was her 300th find...pretty impressive for doing this just over a year). I got into caching as a great way to get away from everyone. I never anticipated the friends I'd make doing this. Finds are one thing, but the friends are the real reward.
