+cat_in_the_hat72
Well I'm pretty new here and have yet to get a chance to get out caching, still waiting to get enough money together to buy my gps. Well I thought in the meantime I might pick up one of the begining guides but when I looked on amazon there were a few to choose from. I have heard discussed the Idiots Guide, but for those that have bought any of these what would you all recomend? Thanks for any insight. cat_in_the_hat72 Quote Link to comment
+New England n00b
Eric Sherman (aka writer in the forums) has a book out. And there's another one, but I forget both their titles. Both are good from what I understand. Amazon should list both of them... Quote Link to comment
+JohnnyVegas
I was given a copy of "The Essential Guide to Geocaching" by Mike Dyer. This look like a very good book for anyone wanting to try the luck at geocaching. I understand it started shipping to stores last week. It is published by Fulcrum. I see listed as being on order at my local book store. Quote Link to comment
+Momyar
I recommend "An Idiot's Guide to Geo Caching". Bought it and it really helped me. Had some great ideas on searching. Good luck and enjoy yourself! Quote Link to comment
