+Cache us Clay
Nice to see another Kankakee area geocacher! We're at the point that we either need to hide more caches in our area or start traveling. My vote is for more caches! Quote Link to comment
+FtMgAl
We're at the point that we either need to hide more caches in our area or start traveling. My vote is for more caches! Do like I do - live on the coast in Alabama and travel home to Decatur every month or so. We lost most of our caches in this area due to hurricane Ivan so I look forward to coming up in a few weeks and freezing in 30 degree weather (BRRR!!! ) while looking for the latest caches. +NoLemon
There's a new geocaching group being formed in Central Illinois. The first event has been announced: NORMAL Breakfast Cache I'd love to join, but can I? I live in Bloomington, but my dad lives in Marion and that's where I do all my geocaching. Sorchah - check out Central Illinois Geocachers Association. We had our first event in Bloomington, IL this past November. We did a CITO event in Pekin. Our next event is scheduled for sometime in March to be held in Decatur. Board members hail from Bloomington, Peoria, Decatur, Pontiac, Springfield etc. Quote Link to comment

+NoLemon
The Central Illinois Geocachers Association is having their first during-the-week, informal gathering. Meet & Eat; Bring & Brag will be held on Tuesday, 2/8 starting at 6pm at Donnelly's Shamrock Pub in Peoria. All cachers, whether CIGA members or not, are invited. Quote Link to comment
ChathamMommy
I'm in the Springfield area (and think there's plenty to do... plus I can drive without having my asthma activated by stress ), but may be moving up to Peoria... in which case I'll have a definite identity-crisis! +rockey_f_squirrell
I see many posts considering Alton as Southern IL, if that is true then I must be way down south... Randolph County, but very very beautiful countryside down here. Just began Geocaching and would like to find another geocacher.most my friends dont like the outdoors, they's all bar bums. +Mr. Fantastic
Being north of I-80 disqualifies me from what I consider Central Illinois. Oswego if fairly close to the central part going east-west. Hoorary for the far western suburbs in any case. Quote Link to comment

I don't believe your teammate exists. You know, there comes a time in everyone's life when they have to give up their imaginary friends. Quote Link to comment
+Team MZFD
I like my imaginary friends.... They don't talk back!!!! This one lets me cache where ever I want and doesn't say a thing! Although I do have to convince him to let me take " the child" with me when I go. Guess I need to adopt my own... Quote Link to comment
