The Waldo's
I have a Meridian Gold and no one in the stores can seem to answer my question. I would like to upgrade to a 64 MB SD Memory Card but my question is do I have to use Magellan's ? or can I use another brand? Thanks for any Help Quote Link to comment
LordSaw
Don't know for sure, as I don't use Magellan products, but if Magellan is calling it an SD Memory Card, any SD Memory Card should work. This is a comercial standard. Cache Well, Quote Link to comment
embra
I use Magellan products; what LordSaw says is correct. Quote Link to comment

IV_Warrior
I use a PNY (?) 256MB SD card in my Gold, and I've heard that even the 1GB cards will work. Haven't personally tested that one, but it's tempting, "just because". Quote Link to comment
JohnnyVegas
Try costco, they have the best price. Quote Link to comment
EScout
Any brand SD or MMC card should work. The best price break seems to be the 128MB size, which you can get for as little as $15 after rebate (Frys recently had this sale for Kingston brand.) You can get a lot of mapping on 128MB. +BuckToothMoose
Don't use MMC cards. They won't work. Stick with the SD cards only.... Quote Link to comment
