+seventhings Posted August 11, 2004 Share Posted August 11, 2004 lost - There are also many cases where a pre-existing survey or boundary marker is "monumented" when it's position is accurately determined and documented (to the standards of the National Spatial Reference System) and the station is added to the NGS database. For example, many of the Mason-Dixon stones along the DE-MD boundary were set in 1765-1766 but were not "monumented" until 1961 and later. will Quote Link to comment
