"Back of milk carton" Cache - Yes/No?

After reading the thread about geocache trading cards, I thought of a different idea.

There is a website out there that shows missing/exploited children http://www.ncmec.org/. I was considering printing out a different picture of a child and including that in every cache. Has anyone seen one of these, or has anyone done this? I would be interested to see how you did it. A simple card? A laminated paper? Any ideas?

Imagine how satisfying it would be to know that your geocache might have helped locate a missing child................

Just a thought..

You could always include one of those "Have you seen me?" postcards with the pictures of missing persons. I think I get 5 or 6 in the mail each week.

A very noble idea!

You really get those? Funny. I've never gotten one in my life. Did you have to sign up for that somewhere?

On a totally different, but remotely related note, my sister was telling me yesterday that when she gets junk mail that includes those postage paid reply envelopes, she often fills the envelope with her other junk mail and sends it to the people who send HER junk. Interesting idea. Completely unrelated, as I said, since I don't mind receiving the "have you seen me" cards. Maybe one of these days I WILL actually see them, and wouldn't that be something?

On this topic, I think that would be an appropriate item. Anything that mobilizes people toward a positive goal is a step in the right direction.

I think it's a great idea. Aside from the 'Have you seen me?" cards (I get them often as well), you could simply cut out the section of the milk carton and include it in the cache. It's already 'laminated' per se, although this may not work in hotter climates.
