+Team Rampant Lion
We are a geocache team from New Jersey coming down to the Ft. Myers, Florida area to visit. Would really like to experience the local flavor while enjoying a few hikes where we can log multiple caches in a series. Any suggestions for series and great individual caches would be greatly appreciated. We're game for anything within a 40 mile radius. Thanks in advance and keep on hunting! AJK
The Key to Love is a nice traditional in a nature preserve. One of the first caches I found - Matanzas Cache is also just off the busy Fort Myers Beach area. There are also a couple in the area that are only reachable by boat. Link to comment
inventorjg
Sorry to say this, but some of the caches in central Florida will be missing come tomorrow because of Hurricane Charley. Just think about it a ammo box being in winds of 102 mph. Link to comment

AJK
Key to love will likely not be affected. Matanzas will be if there is a high storm surge. Link to comment
the federation
Looking bad at this point for Ft. Myers caching is going to take a big hit in Tampa Ft Myers especially along the coast. Link to comment
the federation
Last update is putting cape coral ft myers righ in the path of a cat 4 hurricane. 18ft storm surge not much is not going to be affected in that area to include a lot of fellow cachers. Link to comment
+Team Rampant Lion
We've been down and back. I hope you all came through the storm safely and without damage to your property. What a mess! Even though I am back, it would be great if you keep posting good search locations as my dad (Flying Scotsman) is local and I will be back sometime soon. Link to comment
