jollybgood
I have several pocket query reports sent to me via email in GPX format each week. Three of them arrive fine with no problems. The fourth one repeatedly results in a warning from my ISP (SBC DSL) informing me the attached GPX file had a virus in it and couldn't be cleaned -- resulting in my ISP removing the attachment. Is this just a case of their virus checking being over zealous? Or is there a chance a virus REALLY is embedded my my PQ report? It seems strange only one of the four consistently gets intercepted. Any advice? I'd like to resolve it so I can receive this paricular report again. Quote Link to comment
Stunod
Is this just a case of their virus checking being over zealous? That would be my guess. A few people have reported similar problems in the forums before. It seems there is some HTML in at least one of the caches in your PQ that is raising the red flag. Quote Link to comment
Harrald
The answers to your question is in this thread. It's not a virus though. I think zipping the files helps. Quote Link to comment
Seamus
My first PQ triggered my virus checker because I hadn't requested that it come to me ZIPped. Checking that box solved the problem for me - no virus alerts ever since. Quote Link to comment
Team Flying Dachshund
was the file zipped when it arrived? Quote Link to comment
