Fathergoose
I just got a new Pocket PC. I have been using a Palm for several years with plucker. So who knows how to get the cache pages loaded to your Pocket PC? Quote Link to comment
New England n00b
I've heard GPXSonar or GPSonar does this. Try a search of this forum fo rthat word, should come up a number of times... (Palm user myself, can't help much more than this, sorry.) Quote Link to comment
Quintheeskimo66
I use GPXSonar on my Toshiba e740. I'm using version 1.2.1 because I have 2002 OS on my unit. If you have the 2003 OS go for version 1.2.2. Works like a charm! I get pocket queries from Geocaching.com (in .gpx fomat) and then load them into GSAK. I sort them and then export a new .gpx file and copy it over to my PPC. Works great for caching. You have field notes that you can update when you locate the cache. You can track travel bugs. You can sort the caches for distance, by name and a host of other options. Hope this helps, Happy hunting -John Quote Link to comment
jollybgood
I just got a new Pocket PC. I have been using a Palm for several years with plucker. So who knows how to get the cache pages loaded to your Pocket PC? I'm a big fan of GPXView. Works great. Like having Geocache.com in your back pocket. http://strandberg.org/gpxview/ I like it because I can import my gpx quieries from gecoache.com directly with no converting for fuss. +Renegade Knight
GPXview and GPXsoner both read a GPX file copied right to your PDA. Sonar though has many more option and can be configured to look like view. Right not I use both. View makes it easier to export a pushpin file for pocket streets and trips. Sonar is more robust (crashes less) and lets you tag your caches found as you go. Quote Link to comment
Night Stalker
I had to download GPX Sonar today because my GPX view would not load a file. It appears that some waypoints have something in them that causes GPX view to crash. GPX sonar does not, but it will not upload the waypoints to Steets and Trips as easily as GPX View. Too Bad.
