peter Posted August 3, 2004 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Yes. If both are loaded for the same area then by default you'll see the City Select maps (it's higher in Garmin's hierarchy), but you can select to see the Topo maps instead. Quote Link to comment

For me on my GPS V, when I'm looking at the map screen, if I hit the menu button I can select MapSource Info from the list of options. It then displays what maps are active, but I can hit Menu again and it lists options like: Enable All Disable All Enable City Select v6 Enable Topo (or something close to that - I typed it from memory). When I drive, I have Enable City Select. When I'm doing a decent hike, I switch to Enable Topo. David Quote Link to comment
