Pennsylvania Geocoins

I have posted this on various PA groups, but in case it missed anyone...

 

I just wanted to let you know that Pennsylvania will soon be joining

the small number of states with our own Geocoin. I have designed the

coin myself and have been working with other members of the NWPA

Geocachers group (mainly Kiawa) to make this a reality. A lot of

time and money have been spent already to get this off the ground.

We probably won't have the coins for a couple of months yet, but the

manufacturer is currently making the dies from my sketches. They

will be numbered and will be able to be tracked on-line. When I get

the samples from the coin place, I will post pictures for you to

see. I am not sure of the price, since we haven't put out all the

money yet. I'll keep you updated during the process. If anyone is

interested in buying some, drop me a line. We are getting 500 coins

for the first run. We'll place another order after that, depending

on how this first batch goes. I have already received a lot of e-

mail from people interested in buying them, so I am expecting that

they will go fast.
