thcri
I have my external antenna with suction cups on the windshield of my pickup and my GPS in a PDA holder on console. I leave my cell phone on the dash within 8" of my GPS external antenna and my cell phone looses reception. I turn my GPS off and I get full coverage on my cell phone!! When I turn my GPS off I even get a beep from my phone. Just kind of interesting that is all. Quote Link to comment
+Keykeeper
GPSr's are receivers. Receivers generate rf in the amplifier stages. That is probably causing your problem. Increase the distance between the two to decrease the interference. Also, the external antenna is super sensitive. Edited July 30, 2004 by Keykeeper Quote Link to comment
