Magilla Gorilla
I now how to find new cache in my state, but it doesn't show how far away they are unless i click on them and look on the map. So what i want to know is there a way to just show new caches that are close to me. Thanks for any help you can give Quote Link to comment
+Ambrosia
On the main page, at the top right corner, is a place that asks for your zip code. Type that in, and then click submit, and that will take you to the nearest caches. Each cache will be farthur away, in descending order, and will say how far away each one is in miles, and which direction. Edited July 14, 2004 by Ambrosia Quote Link to comment
+writer
Go to Hike & Seek a Cache and do the zip code lookup, setting the search radius as far as you want. (The default is 100 miles.) You will get a list of caches sorted by proximity to that zip code. Or find your lat/lon coordinates and on the same page enter them a bit farther down and click the search button. +Robespierre
You can do a google search for "Ohio zip codes," or "Oregon zip codes," and then enter the zip of wherever you wish. Quote Link to comment
+CompuCash
if you use GSAK you can set the HOME position and it tells you how far each cache is from that point (straight line of course). What is neat is being able to set home position to a certain cache to see how close others are to i t. Quote Link to comment
+Blaidd-Drwg
Or you can go to 'My Cache page' and in the upper right corner is a place to update your home coordinates. You can input your home coords and when you do a search from your 'My Cache Page' all of the caches will be listed in distance from your home. (ramble, ramble, ramble) Quote Link to comment
