+Birders
Hi Folks. We visit NZ every few years to visit relatives and next time we come we'll be geocaching. Also. some good geocaching friends will be there in February next to clear up as many of your caches as they can manage. In the UK many cachers use Memory Map and similar software with PDAs and we'd be interested to know if such mapping software is available in NZ. Thanks.. Quote Link to comment

+Birders
<<we won't bite, promise>> We know that - every time we've visited NZ we thought we'd died and gone to Heaven and Hokey Pokey ice cream is the food of the Gods! Thanks for the tips folks; hope to get something organised for our next expedition down-under.. Quote Link to comment
+swanny
To get the on topic stuff out of the way: A lot of people skip over the pdas for maping and go straight to laptops, running nzmapped, tumonz or maptoaster topo (to name the ones I can remamber) ...Hokey Pokey ice cream is the food of the Gods!... Don't forget Pavlova, Moro bars the mince pie and of course Marmite (an aquired taste I'll agree).... sniff sniff can't beat their fish and chips either.... +TheRudderpost
As a resident alien I am not sure that I understand the local love of Pavlova ... much ado about nothing My daughter would like to second the hokey pokey vote and add chocolate fish! Quote Link to comment
+Greymane
I know Memory-Map is working on a NZ set of maps, but I am not sure when they will be released. It shouldn't be long, though. Quote Link to comment
