I saw a announcement for a Geocaching event here in Sept, and I thought "that would make a great hobby!" I was thinking in terms of scavenger hunts. Today I was hiking at an old ghost town. When I got home I typed "Boca California" into google, and found this site. If I had only known there was a cache... I probably almost stepped on it. My eyes have been opened to a whole new world! I know tons of great sites to place caches, and look forward to finding some of the existing caches. What a great way to get some exercise! river ranger Posted August 18, 2002 Share Posted August 18, 2002 ... this is a great area for caching. just getting started myself, just having a trouble making free time to hunt now. just got the flyer on September Reno event, sounds fun but have to work that day i think. keep us posted on how your doing. having to do what the voices in my wifes head tell me to do...
