Computerdood
I have heard mention that bean bag mounts are available for GPRr's. I have a new Sport Map, and a GPS315. I want to mount them, but Velcro leaves adhesive mess. Magnets can screw up the Ant. signal. I was thinking a high friction mount may be the answer...My Dask is long and wide (Cab forward design). Does anyone have this...That would help when I am looking for road stuff, and glance at holder. Quote Link to comment
+bransom
Here's something you might look at: http://www.handstands.com/retail/computer/igrip.shtml Made for iPods but may well work with your GPS. Quote Link to comment
Reel Rider
If you go into walmart, target, or such stores, the section where they sell contact shelf paper/liner, there is a gripping liner that my firend uses to hold her cell phone on the dash... costs about $4, and one roll would last forever and ever, it is so large. http://organize-everything.com/12x5white.html Edited June 25, 2004 by Reel Rider Quote Link to comment
Computerdood
Found the "Sticky Pad" that work great. It is some kind of silicon product, that is not adhesive based...I have put my phone on it, and rounded tight corners, and it hold. The GPS did go flying on a hairpin taken too fast, but that was my fault. So I will say these solutions definitely work. Thanks for everyone's help. Quote Link to comment
