WH
Here's the bug's page. Besides myself, there was only one other person to log it. Quote Link to comment
Fakk 2
maybe he is "blue" cuz he isnt driving as much as his siblings. (Ok I realize its purple, not blue, but close enough) Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
IT does look like sombody swapped. I guess that's one better than having it just dissapear into their collection. Quote Link to comment

+JMBella
I say as long as it's a Jeep it's ok. I just painted one red. Quote Link to comment
dampeoples
I hope nobody here thought that all 5000 of them would make it without being modified or made trophies. Just look at how caches are traded. Quote Link to comment
+Squealy
Heh, heh!!!! You mean like this jeep? Check out the pictures. Quote Link to comment
+Milbank
Heh, heh!!!! You mean like this jeep? Check out the pictures. Ya, cool. You can see the tag number plain as day in one of the photo's. Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
I say as long as it's a Jeep it's ok. I just painted one red. That purple one though insn't the original Jeep. Swapping removed the serial number from circulation though the dog tag is the same. You red one still has the "VIN" so to speak. So does Squealys purple one. We need to get the Scooby gang on this one and solve the mystery! Quote Link to comment
+Team JASS
You sure can! How long before this YJTB is grabbed again??? And no, I'm not going to grab it... Although it is tempting! Steve Edit: spelling Edited June 23, 2004 by Team JASS Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
Somebody had to do it! Can't let Mopar get away with that!! Quote Link to comment

+Mopar
Man! Who gets to enter this one in the essay contest? Sounds like there could be a winner here! Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
Looks like the assistant prinicpal from Brooklyn didn't like getting schooled! TB Page Quote Link to comment
+Squealy
Actually, some things are done on purpose - but I guess I didn't expect "experienced" cachers (or at least people with a lot of posts - who tend to talk about Geocaching etiquette) to cheat. School is always open, son, anytime you want to attend... Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
Hey, it's not about the numbers, it about the fun! Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
Hey, it's not about the numbers, it about the fun! What he said! How could it be cheating? There is no prize for finding one, other then the chance to enter the photo/essay contest. Not like i don't already have 35 other icon's in my profile I could use for that. Nope, it was just some good natured fun with another cacher experienced enough to know not to post the TB's serial number. Thanks for playing. Edited June 23, 2004 by Mopar Quote Link to comment
+wildearth2001
6/23/2004 Squealy grabbed it The lesson is that some people are so pathetic, they have to cheat. Thats why I only posted a note, and I will delete that in a few minutes Quote Link to comment

School is always open, son, anytime you want to attend... Cheat? Who's cheating? Was there a test? Relax -- nobody's cheating, we're just having some fun. Prime example of why you don't show the tag number in the logs! Edited June 23, 2004 by joefrog Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Is it too late for me to play with this one too? Better make some room in the sandbox fellas. Umm I thought all those etiquette lectures were only for caches but not TB's? Quote Link to comment
+The Jester
If I grab it again does that increase my Jeep count? Or maybe we just in invented Jeep Ping Pong! Quote Link to comment
+BlackBuck
I dont know about the color but they're made pretty cheaply.......and whats the # on the jeeps under carriage for? Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
It was going to be the original TB # however, TBTP decided to go with different numbers stamped on the TB tag itself. Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
Of course it's cheating. You didn't find the bug. You logged it anyway to prove a point. Note: the point is being driven home to both the target and the bug owner. Quote Link to comment
+wimseyguy
Awww, squealy done squealed on us and stopped all the fun. Was this cheating any more than being able to solve a virtual cache question with some online sleuthing? And what about that string of German couch potato caches out there? Oh the humanity! Bring the purity back to the RASH. Quote Link to comment

+The Jester
Awww, squealy done squealed on us and stopped all the fun. Well, we can always go back to bashing micros, virtuals, & (uh, what else are we suppose to bash?)... Quote Link to comment
+The Commissar!
I think the # on the bottom was supposed to match up with the bug # on the page (not the tag) but they don't. I think they got lazy and just slapped the tags on the jeeps and sent them out...all of the Jeeps in SC started out yellow but I think I might give the two I still have a paint job, not a switch job, but actually paint them to match the caches they will start in! WH
There TB's, so as time passes some will be stolen, others lost, but alot will continue to circulate. Quote Link to comment
+Squealy
Actually, I didn't say anything - I can handle all my own problems - All the logs were deleted and they used one of my pics as the TB pic. Quote Link to comment
