wanderlust
Hi folks - My fiancee and I are leaving tomorrow to spend a few days in Bloomington, IN. Can anyone suggest beautiful or cleverly created geocaches that we should hit while we are in the area? Thanks, Wanderlust Brevard, NC Quote Link to comment
+Torry
Those guys are pretty busy down there. If you are ONLY going to be in the city you can start with a micro overlooking US46 on the North side and work your way around town. Several just west of town and souhwest in some nice trails. The hot bed is in Morgan/Monroe and Yellowwood State parks. Several longtime cachers have been very busy there and many are easy to get to by car. Here's a small one in a nice park not far from the IU campus. Here's another micro near some baseball diamonds on the north side of town A unique sight with a micro on the west side of town (close to the shopping) One for the kids to look for while the grown-ups shop just north of town. And another in some woods - search for "nearest caches" from here for a bunch Quote Link to comment
+Mountain Climber
if you like hiking then just south east of the city you might try this cache. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...5b-9124428d5415 There are several more caches in the same area that you could do as well. You could spend the day just in this part of the Hoosier National Forest. Regards Moutain Climber Edited June 24, 2004 by Mountain Climber Quote Link to comment
