To find this link .... first go to the 'main page', then scroll down to 'benchmark hunting'. Click 'Check out benchmark hunting'. On that screen click on 'other search options' at the bottom of the 'to search for local benchmarks' gray box. Which will bring you to the 'searching benchmarks' screen.

 

Now you may play away all you want. We have had the most fun by clicking in the spot in front of the Designation & typing an old year to see if there any benchmarks close to us with that certain date. (Oh, do not forget to click the state also.). You can also use any name you could think of & I am willing to bet there will be a mark for it.

That is truly an awesome find. Congratulations. I'm not sure about the age of my oldest find, but I have found several that were monumented in the late 1800's. -pb
