Geocachers Are A Fine Group Of People

I just want to say that Geocachers are a great group of people, on the whole. As evidence, there is a group of gals down in California that are launching a Search and Rescue mission tomorrow for my Cache Pen TB, which has been stuck at the top of a mountain for over a year! Pretty cool of them to do this.

Here is the thread that I started to ask for help:

Linda,

That is great. Let us know what happens.

Like I always say, by and large geocachers are great people. There are a few out there that aren't, but they are few and far between.

 Gosh! I think I might try something like that Linda.

I had a T-Bug named Go-Huskies. He was a bendable dressed in the gold and purple of our UW huskies that MR WD loves to follow.

Well, who of all people picked him up first? UW-Dawg! So he got his picture taken next to his helmet and stuff. Really cool.

Well, he made his way north and got stuck in a cache in North Pole, Alaska. Some guy took him out in June of 2003. I have written him numerous times... no response.

Do you think I should post something for that region and see if anyone knows the guy?

It's worth a try. I had to "bump" my post once to get more people to see it, but the gals down in San Francisco did see it and responded.

Too bad ClayJar isn't planning to visit North Pole, AK...(I'm not sure there's a way to drive there anyways!) :)

Good Luck....

Actually North Pole is just outside Fairbanks and, as I recall, CJ is going into Fairbanks, but as I read Wienerdog's post the TB USED to be there, but is now in a cacher's hands.

Edit: added note about TB
