A three day course on Wilderness First Aid : http://users.eastlink.ca/~adventure/wilder...e_first_aid.htm This course was 3 days long, which included overnight camping. We had everything from classroom learning to very realistic scenarios. We also were given alot of info on what to bring in a survival kit such as: knife, compass, rope, cup, firestarter(dryer lint), magnesium lighting stick, space blanket, weatherproof matches, candle, soup mix, jello, toilet paper, sewing kit, safety pins, bug spray, tarp, socks, hat, pocket saw, piece of webbing, flagging tape, extra batteries, whistle, flashlight, signal mirror, first aid kit: first aid form w/grease pen, gloves, cpr mask, bandaids, cut anything scissors, tensor bandage, thermometer, gauze, afterbite, roller gauze, mole skin, second skin, water gel, tweezers, syringe, triangle bandage, baggies, exlax, immodium, pepto bismol, tums, benadryl, tylenol,ibuprofen, asprin, chapstick, razors, clear medical tape, polysporin, iodine tink, antiseptic wipes, splint if there is anything else that you think would be great to bring- please let me know- -Stingray Quote Link to comment
