Hi Jeremy,

 

I have a request for you . . .

 

I'm using JohnTee as a handle . . . how about some kind of stylish toilet with a 'T' coming out of the bowl? :D

 

Thanks much for you offer of help. The art side of my brain is definitely underdeveloped and I have been wondering who I might get to help me with this idea for an avatar.

My avatar got distorted and the color doesn't work with the new forums.

I don't have the energy to make another one right and was hoping someone could help out.

 

Something with the following:

- The two figures from the picture in my profile

- A picture of Eatern Massachusetts in the BG with the caching colors

- "TH1981 & bir" on it

- The empty space matching the new background color of the forums?

 

Anyone interested?

Would someone help me with a geocaching purple heart? A cacher in our area got a bit hurt while hunting one of my caches and continued to finish the multi, even with quite a bit of blood sprayed about. I figure that a geocaching G (or, if allowed, a Signal the frog) on a Puple Heart medal (see image below). Would someone be able to help on this?

Hello

I would love it if someone could help me with a graphic for a cache series we're working on. I would like to try to put the image on prizes (maybe buttons or wooden nickels or maybe even T shirts) and the cache pages; basically using it as a "logo" for the series. Without giving too much away (locals lurking?) let's just say it is a mystery series. I'm looking for a comical image of a detective with a GPS in his hand and maybe a magnifying glass and a sherlock holmes type hat. Integrating the 4 geo colors would be great too.

Ok, the time has come -- would like to spiff this guy up -- I'm not particularly artistic, but he very shortly will be on my geocoin, and certainly will remain as my avatar, although at the moment, he is kind of large.

 

As you can see, there is a lack of consistancy (some filled in, some not) 'cause I can't always decide, and it doesn't really pop like some others that I've seen. Obviously, I'm fond of purple and would like that to be the predominate color, but am not against others that might work.

 

Anybody interested? I do have a larger version (probably black) I could e-mail to somebody if wanted.

I've been working on this Lunar Land Rover Retro thing for some time but my computer skills lack something. My friends owned a junk yard once upon a time and this looks like the yard vehicle we through together. I was trying to set a character looking thru binoculars (eyes popping out with the 2B Amazed look).

 

That purple heart is awesome!

 

For now, I'm heading off for my #2 pencil, Big Chief tablet and my crayola box.

This is actually not a bad idea folks. If you can make a sketch with crayons, scan and post it, there are folks on here who can turn that into a spiffy graphic too.

 

Sometimes it's the ideas I am at a loss for, but I can turn a napkin sketch into a reasonable image usually.

Hey this stuff is awesome. I am new to geocaching. Name is the first inital of myself, ds/13, ds friend/13, dd/10, dd friend 11. Any avatar would be fantastic, but if there was anyway to incorporate the name and the geo colors, that would be even better. I have no ability with computer software, I use charcoal, watercolors and paint....

Thanks to anyone who wants to give this a try. Maybe mom and 4 kids type of thingy....

Hi!

We'd be really grateful if you could help us with your logo or avatar. Unfortunately we're not really artistic when it comes to graphic software etc.

A bit of help would be brilliant!

We're called * The Gerbils *, we are a couple and we love geocaching and have got gerbils as pets. They are really interessting creatures and it's always fun watching them. We'd love to have a logo/avatar with one or two gerbils on it and maybe the geocaching logo?

wow, what a great service you guys are doing. since my avatar kind of infringes on stunod and i was trying to come up with an image but not getting far.

 

i was thinking of stick figures.

the taller stick figure would be using a hiking stick and be bald.

smaller stick figure has a big head of hair and would be carrying a flag in the shape of the state of PA and in geocache colors.

the other stick figure would represent my jack russell.

 

thanks in advance for any help with this. i would also like to use this image for a signature item and perhaps a stencil. i sign logs as beef and lil bro. thanks again

Did this site have rules against making AVATARS? I haven't read anywhere on here that they were but your post has me concerned now since you state that they were no longer able to be done.

Hey all you wonderfully generous and talented graphics folk....

 

I'd love a new avatar, if someone has the time that is.

 

Over a year or so ago I had one made by someone in this thread, but then I adjusted my geonick and it kinda became dated at that time.

 

I like simplicity. I would like something that could be used as an avatar as well as become my personal geo-logo for a sig card or wooden nickel design.

 

My name, Hydnckr, means quite literally hide-n-seeker. I live in NW Ohio, and I use a stick figure of a guy with his hands over his eyes as a logo currently. But it's kinda lame...

 

If there was a way to incorporate a guy leaning against a tree (like he's counting for a game of hide and seek) with maybe an ammo can on the other side of the tree and then somehow incorporate the state of Ohio outline, well, that'd just be cool as heck! :P

 

I'm open to other ideas or interpretations of my geo-nick as well.

My nick is the first inital of myself, son 13, son's friend 13, daughter 10 and daughters friend 12. We started together and do a lot together. Anything Texasy and geo colors maybe like a coin-type shape with Kasma Gang on it would be awesome. Thanks again for anyone who gives it a try.
