+Team XTerror
One of the options on a pocket query is for eBook format. I have a Palm m515 and I've tried a few programs to read this file, CSpotRun, Palm Reader, etc. All show the same thing... a messy display full of html tags. Is there a good reader for this file? +Stunod
Mobipocket. Oh, wait, you asked if there is a good reader...the answer is NO. Try using Spinner & Pucker. Quote Link to comment
+S&G.Davison
Cache Mate works well for us. Just wish there was a more elegant way to get the logged find data back to the PC rather than via memo pad. out caching though it's great. Sue & G Quote Link to comment
+Bartster
Plucker does work very nicely. I did start out using MobiPocket, and found it to be VERY clunky. But I don't use Spinner. I use GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) to create the html files. Then I sync them to my PDA (Sony Clie . . .Palm OS) via Plucker. I have been very pleased. You can sort the caches on your PDA, and even look up a cache and click NEARBY CACHES. Pretty awesome. I've used it many time in the field, and can find the cache page I'm looking for on my PDA within seconds (versus MobiPocket which I spent about 15 minutes looking for a cache once, and never did find it on my PDA). +Team XTerror
Perfect! Just what I needed. I tried GPX Spinner and got that to work with Plucker. Then I decided to give GSAK a go. I'd heard of it, but hadn't played with it much. What a cool tool. Paperless, at last. Er... almost paperless. I still keep a written log in my bag. I write much better than I can scribble with a Palm. Edited June 7, 2004 by Team XTerror Quote Link to comment
