summitlt Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Ok, I have a Garmin Etrex, and would like to get a PC interface cable so that I can use the GPS with a map making program I have. But the $20 for the cable is a bit steep. Ive seen online that you can make your own, which I can do. But I cant seem to find the page. Ive looked around and cant find it. Anyone know of the site that had this? thanks in advance Quote

summitlt Posted June 3, 2004 Author Posted June 3, 2004 Wow, thanks a lot. just out of curiosity, whatd you search for. Quote
+NightPilot Posted June 3, 2004 Posted June 3, 2004 Also Pfranc. They sell connectors as shareware (hardware, that is). You promise to send the money, and they send the connectors immediately. Some pfrancs will provide additional connectors at no charge if you pay in advance. They have cables, just connectors, or whatever you need. Highly recommended. Quote
