geokatt
Sometimes I want to see the whole map without having umteen waypoint covering it up. The manual doesn't address this situation that I can see. (I'm new to Garmin). I don't want to selete them if I don't have too. Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment

+Rubberhead
From the map page hit the "Menu" button then select the map set-up option. From there scroll left or right until you get to the page that has the "Max Zoom" Settings. Set the Max Zoom for waypoints to a small number like 300 Feet or smaller. Basically, you are telling the GPS to only display waypoint icons when the zoom factor is 300 feet (or whatever number you selected) or less. Quote Link to comment
+sbukosky
Hmm. I wasnt' aware you could do that. I've often wished that I could blank out certain types of waypoint icons. I have a lot of work related waypoints in my 60C and sometimes would like to hide the geocaches in order to clarify the map. Quote Link to comment

I believe the default is AUTO but you can turn them OFF here as well. it's once notch up from AUTO if i remember right. Quote Link to comment

+SnapCracklePop
Is there a way to filter out only geocaches? When I am driving around not geocaching I want to see my other waypoint, just not the geocaches. Quote Link to comment
+Marcie/Eric
Is there a way to do this on a MeriGold? Quote Link to comment
