+SearchRescueDog
OK here is my problem. I would like to save tracks and be able to then save them (with labels) to create custom topo maps (both on paper on USGS quads as well as on mapsource). The general project is to map out Four Wheel Drive trails and then be able to distribute these both by paper topo as well as CD so that they can be uploaded into other users Garmin units. I know that this is coming out about as clear as mud but does anyone see where I am going with this? Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
National Geographic Topo! and maybe more in track ToposyncUSA (and a couple of other related product) let you do this. On NGS you can even downlaod trails for your maps or upload them for others to use. Maybe not exactly what you were looking for but something to look at. Quote Link to comment
+SearchRescueDog
Is there a way to then make that data part of the map data in Mapsource? Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
Here are a few links about creating your own maps. I personally haven't tried this, but I've heard that it works. I started scanning some maps into OziExplorer, but never got any farther than that due to time constraints. Hope the links help.
