+logger&trail
I was looking at a Toshiba E750 to replace my M125 palm so I was just wondering how it stacks up for caching? Has anyone interfaced it directly to the Vista GPS? Can you transfer waypoints back and forth? Can I use it the same way I do now to carry all the caches around (Currently I use GSAK and plucker) The one advantage is I can finally run the copy of pocket streets I have had since I bought Streets & Trips. Any feedback positive or negative? Thanks for your help Happy Caching! Logger Quote Link to comment
+TerraTrekkers
We use an E755 and an E355. They work great. Use GPXSonar (free) to view your GPX files. With GPXSonar you copy your Gpx file directly to your pocket pc without any other steps. I use Mapopolis instead of Pocket S&T. I have S&T but Mapopolis runs circles around it. I link an old yellow eTrx to it using a cable from Supply Net. Quote Link to comment
+-=(GEO)=-
I have S&T but Mapopolis runs circles around it. That's true. The advantage of MSFT Pocket S&T is that GpxSonar will let you map cache locations with it automagically. To this day, Mapopolis does not have the right interface to do the same thing.
