+john_underwood@charter.net
Can two differant Rhino models report position information to each other. In other words if I get the kids a 110 each and mom the 130, can she keep up with little monsters on camping trips and the like? Naturally I will stick with a regular hand held so I can slip off for a little fishing. Quote Link to comment
+Gliderguy
Yes, all three rino types will report to each other, BUT each radio has a menu option to turn off position reporting. Depending on how technically adept your kids are, they could turn off the reporting (or for that matter, so could you ) Also the rino radios only do the position reporting on the FRS frequencies, if you enable the more powerful GMRS you will not get the position reporting (FCC requirement that I am sure Garmin really hates) Quote Link to comment
+john_underwood@charter.net
If the squid choose to disable reporting then we would have to resort to low tech parenting (gounding, removing the PS2 and bankrupcy) As for me well I she has to catch me first. Thanks for the help. I am pretty sure we have a plan. Quote Link to comment
