Akansas Caching Groups

I have been caching since February, and have had trouble until recently (when I attended an event and looked at a couple of profiles), finding caching groups. I have sent an email to gecaching.com to asked them to see if they could add a list of geocaching groups by state to the site. This will provide an easier method for newbies to find, and contact local groups.

There are only a handful of groups - but I think the statewide group is:

 

Arkansas Geocachers Association

 

They have a webpage and a Yahoogroup mailing list.

if you go to the map page for the state you're looking for you will see a list of groups on the right hand side near the top. but for some reason on the ark. page they have yet to list the yahoo group ARKGEO.

I'm in the process of getting a group together here in Arkansas.

The Arkansas geocachers group is the Arkansas Geocachers Association.

Our web site is ArkGeo.us. We also have a yahoo discussion group called ArkGeo at Yahoo Groups.

The Arkasnsas Geocachers Assocation has moved their web site to:

ArkGeocaching.org

 

It is the same group, and same site, and even the same server, but with a new, more accurately descriptive URL. The old ArkGeo.us will forward you to the new site.
