X-C Shadow
Howdy Geocaching Gods... I would like to propose the initials FTR (First to Record) when a Benchmark is recorded the first time. Benchmarks can be fun and even rather challenging to find at times. The "FTR" designation might encourage folks to spend some time uncovering some of the old and rather obscure Benchmarks as well as encouraging geochchers to find some of the lost ones. Just a thought... What do you think? Is this even worth it? X-C Shadow Link to comment
gbod
Where would FTR be used? In the benchmark log? In forum conversation? As a new type of log? I'm not sure I understand how this would encourage finds. Link to comment
X-C Shadow
It would be used in the benchmark log. ...just an incentive thing. Link to comment
Black Dog Trackers
I think the list order you see when you click on a PID is enough. It seems more important to concentrate on those that we haven't logged instead of the exact order when a PID has been logged by several people. Link to comment
GEO*Trailblazer 1
If you are the FTF it is logged that way on the benchmark page anyway,I would have to go back and put 100's of FTF's. I think those interested do not worry about who was the FTF,I like the Old one's anyway for Histerical dexterity LOL! Good Idea. Link to comment

2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
How 'bout the initials BFD. Personally I think that is a bad idea. We don't want any dead bodies here on the benchmark pages. There have been plenty of "Bodies Found Dead" in the geocaching searches!!! I don't have any links handy but if you check the general topics you should find a couple of threads about Dead Bodies. John Link to comment
