rag-a-muffin Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 Could someone please explain to me the symbolic meaning of the GC.com logo? thanks. GeoRobb. Quote
+CYBret Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 It's a simplification of the old logo which can still be seen on This Shirt. The squares represent a gridwork (map), the dashes are your trail and the flag is the cache. And the guy is screaming because someone has jabbed a pair of chopsticks into his arm. +Planet Posted February 15, 2003 Posted February 15, 2003 the chopsticks are in his nose. Cache you later, Planet I feel much more like I do now than when I first got here. Quote

+DiziTxs Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 This is straight from a Groundspeak person I wrote. The 'little guy' is the Groundspeak Guy. He's a stylized "X marks the spot" and both a destination and a person reaching the destination. He's "speaking" to the world with the speech arrows zinging out of his head. I hope this answers your question. DiziTxs Quote
geoStrider Posted March 29, 2003 Posted March 29, 2003 I like the chopsticks explanation better. Out here, they could be cactus spines. Veni, Vidi, Cachi ... Quote
