buck09
I've seen other people stamp the log book and it makes me feel like a sucker for taking the time to write my name and date down. I'd like my own stamp. Keep in mind that I'm lazy, so the following criteria need to be met: 1. I need to order it online. 2. I'd like a moderate degree of control over the design. 3. I only want to buy 2-3 stampers. 4. Must be self inking. 5. Have a date stamp with it. Any pointers where to go online would be appreciated. Link to comment
buck09
Just a thought... Yeah I did that. I figured rather than doing the legwork myself, I'd just ask other people who have already done it. Why re-invent the wheel? Link to comment
tirediron
Ok, seriously though... I know that in our area (Western Canada) both Staples and Office Depot have on-line ordering for rubber stamps. I would guess that most major copy-centers would as well. Check out the home pages for any of the big office box stores or copy-centers in your area. For the stamps that I have bought (non-caching related) I have always had better luck actually going in and ordering what I need in person. Good luck! Link to comment
bons
http://thestampmaker.com/ Edit: apparently the place I went to is either no longer there or they've seriously changed and they type of stamps I ordered are no longer available. I've removed the link to where I shopped and left the other link there. Edited April 28, 2004 by bons Link to comment
Seamus
Dollar store: Three-pack of block erasers and a little razor knife - $2. Scrap pile: Assorted bits of wood for handles - Free. Project box: A few drops of glue - Already had it. A couple of hours in front of the TV, and I had my first six sig stamps. Yeah, I know that you said you were lazy, but I was poor. As stated below though, there are many, many places that will custom-make stamps for you. Give them the artwork and you're shiny. -- Seamus W4TQI Link to comment
