+Hard Oiler
Sunday one of the dogs picked up the first ticks of the season here in SW Ontario (and he was on lead, on a trail), Monday saw the first trillium in flower, today it's snowing Quote Link to comment
+logger&trail
Well Hard Oiler your not alone, I picked my first tick on Tuesday. They are here in Niagara as well. I was on the Welland / Niagara Falls border and only walked a distance of 10m. By the time I got home I found one.... I HATE TICKS!!! Last year I had so many of them while working outdoors, the doctor sent me out for Lymes testing. Bad enough I give blood to those little critters, but then I have to give it to the doctors as well. YECH! Logger Quote Link to comment
+Hard Oiler
It does seem to be a great year for them. Was briefly in the bush mapping oil wells today and picked up 5. Mrs HO wouldn't let me back in the house until I'd stripped off in the backyard. Wonder what the neighbours thought . Had lots of garlic for dinner, see if that helps keep them away.
