+Erika!
I am currently trying to solve (one of the more complicated) multi caches and have found the need to create maps (say using www.streetmap.com or something similar)...however I have discovered that I cannot use the format dd.mm.mmm to enter the coordinates...is there any way I can convert them to briitsh grid or similar easily? I tried using jeeep.com but despite seemingly doing it right, the maps I created were always a few miles out from where the coordinates should be. Any ideas??? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+naffita
try this link It was discussed a while ago. Streetmap work in degrees , minutes, seconds and not degrees, minutes decimal. Quote Link to comment

+Birders
Or get Waypoint Workbench, which converts anything to anything.. I've lost the URL but email chris@fabalou.com for a copy. It's freeware. Quote Link to comment
sidewallwolf
The URL for Waypoint Workbench is here. Not only that but it is made by one of our fellow cachers. Quote Link to comment
+Erika!
Thanks everyone - managed to do what I needed - now lets just see if I can find the cache!!! Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
I know you have managed to change your co-ords to British grid, and all the advice you got appeared to be sound advice. The easiest way that I find changing Datum to British grid is to enter the datum into my GPS (Garmin Geko 201), Then change my Position Format to British. Your GPS does all the work for you. +The Wobbly Club
If you take a look at our home page The Wobbly Club's Website there is a free download of a program to convert to British Grid from WGS84 and vice versa. Hope this helps. Colin & Daphne Quote Link to comment
