+Boot Group
We have seen Geo-Coins traveling as travel bugs. We've seen them mentioned in forums. We noticed we can purchase dog tags for a travel bug of our choice, but there's no mention of geo-coins that we have seen. We have also noticed that geo-coins have a special section in the travel bug logs. So, what are they? Do they have their own tracking numbers in lieu of the dog tags? Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Moun10bike coins do and they are tracked like travel bugs. I don't know if anyone elses coins are setup that way. Other coins can be tracked on their web site. A geocoin is usually a custom made coin for a person or group related to geocaching. The rules vary. Some you can trade for, some are supposed to travel. +bons
http://www.usageocoins.com/ are trackable on geocaching.com Personally, I would only use it as a personal travel bug or as swag. My experience is that they tend to have very short lifespans as travel bugs in the wild. Link to comment
