sidewallwolf Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 (edited) Blimey, that must have taken you ages to type out. All static HTML, I see? No PHP or ASP. Wow! We are 27th! Thought we'd come last Edited April 20, 2004 by sidewallwolf
+wildtrekker Posted April 20, 2004 Posted April 20, 2004 Thanks for your work again in putting this together, I for one appreciate your efforts. Nice to see I'm still climbing the charts (Not that I'm a numbers man)

Buts going ok so far, in three monts its gone from 18 entrys to 31. So thanks to everyone who has entered so far. and its nice to see people like wildtrekker and S&G rise up while I fall like a broken lift
+Cave Troll and Eeyore Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 The first month i,m not bottom of the table. Hurrayyyyyy
+rev n doc Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 My goodness! we get lower each month - going to have to do something serious about that! And to top it all I have so many college assignments and preaching engagements that I don't think I'll be out much next month, roll on June!
+Seasider Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 My vote goes to Volvo Man for the No. 1 spot in April! I think I'll be targetting a top 5 spot for myself. Cheers! Seasider
+Daisy&me Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Can you put a link to COTM on the GC:UK home page? Its a bit difficult to find now.
Deego Posted April 22, 2004 Author Posted April 22, 2004 (edited) I will have to try and do a graphic for the front page. But there is a link in the Misc section in UK stats Edited April 22, 2004 by Deego
+stu_and_sarah Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 (edited) Blimey, that must have taken you ages to type out. All static HTML, I see? No PHP or ASP. Of course, it's perfectly possible to automate the building of static HTML. Works well if your webserver doesn't have much oomph. That's how I did this. I just have to hit a 'build' command when I change anything. Anyway... getting off-topic here! Edited April 22, 2004 by stu_and_sarah

+OzGuff Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 I just added my pitiful UK stats for April! Thanks for allowing me to throw my hat in the ring -- it will be a few months until I get back to the UK. I really enjoyed my last few visits to London and surrounding areas. Can't wait to get back over there -- I will be looking at trying a 50-cache day in a non-London area!
+DomHeknows Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Its time to send in Aprils entry Thanks to everybody that has entered so far!! Brian (Deego) UK Cacher of the Month table What? There's still 90 minutes of caching time left!
Deego Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Had 17 enter so far and 8 first timers :D, Sorry DomHeKnows I was a bit early.
+Volvo Man Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 I'm another first timer this month for you, stats sent, went to add a note, pressed enter - DOH!, emailed Deego with breakdown, Found another Travel Bug DOH!!!! Emailed him again with corrected figures
+DomHeknows Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Well i dreamt of finding a cache an hour after posting - does that count ;-) Stats on the way in a minute or two.
Deego Posted May 3, 2004 Author Posted May 3, 2004 (edited) Looks like a record month Have had 35 enter so far including 15 first timers Edited May 3, 2004 by Deego
+Simply Paul Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Chalk up another first timer! I'm chasing my '100 inside a year' personal target and had a very busy (for me) April. A 13 cache day in Oxford with Dan Wilson, plus a busy day in Milton Keynes in the same week added to a solid 40 caches for the month. Not bad since it'd taken me just over ten months (late May 2003 to the end of March 2004) to even get my total into the 50's! I've also nosed my way into the UK's top ten prolific hiders this month by placing another six quality (I hope) caches, including my first virtual - In London. Just the one Travel Bug though... And not a trig point to be seen! SP
Deego Posted May 6, 2004 Author Posted May 6, 2004 I have posted a list of people that have entered Here If your not on the list and should be please let me know Brian
Leoness Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 On a slightly different topic... Deego I haven't been able to access the interactive map all day today. Is it down for maintenance?
Deego Posted May 7, 2004 Author Posted May 7, 2004 The database is down :) if its not sorted by tonight I will have to ring Mark. I have no access to the database only Mark and Ian do.
+Pharisee Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 It would seem that the whole G:UK site has gone down as I cant get in to any of it
