Where To Buy My New Gps In White Plains?

Hi,

 

Next week I am in the US on a business trip.

 

I plan to buy a new GPS unit while I am there because prices are less than half of the Danish prices.

 

Can anyone recommend a place to buy a GPS unit close to my hotel in White Plains?

There is a Sports Authority in a small mall (at 60 S. Broadway) almost right next to your hotel - they should have GPSs. Failing that, there are two large malls within walking distance, the Westchester (again, right next door to your hotel) and the Galleria that may have an electronics or outdoors activity store that may carry GPSs. Good luck.

Just to follow up...

 

I finally found a place downtown NY where they had the Garmin 60C. The hunt for the unit can best be described as a hard multicache with a difficulty rating of 5 (terrain close to 1). Each step did not bring me much closer to the final cache location.

The one thing is that you'll get the North/South America base map if you buy it here. I assume that if you buy it in Europe, you'll get a European base map, or am I assuming too much?

ebay. I' don't think I'll ever buy a gps anywhere else.
