+ariha
Ok, how does this idea sound for a cache, Place a Lock on one cache, and place the combo for the lock in another? Also, do you think I could chain my cache to a tree? PS Has anyone else had problems with the website, it keeps giving me n ASP error, and its very slow! Quote Link to comment
+Dawgies
Sounds like a great idea! I've worked a couple that was tied / chained to trees. And looked for a couple that should have been, but wasn't, and had washed down the river.... As long as the cache container is clearly marked (Geocache) and the chain doesn't damage or interfer with things there shouldn't be a problem. Quote Link to comment
+SBPhishy
One of my caches has a combo for the lock given in a different language. They have to figure out what it is. Also, there have been some caches with locks on them, and a lockpick set hidden nearby. The finder had to pick the lock to get in. Also, in my area, there is a key on a travel bug. You have to find and grab the TB to unlock the cache that goes with it. They are all great ideas. Quote Link to comment
+fly46
There is one where the "key" is hidden in one of any caches in the area and you have to get it to open another cache.. But I can't remember where I found it. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Its such a good idea that it's been used frequently. As far as chaining your cache to a tree, just make sure its far enough off the beaten path where it won't accidently be discovered. Otherwise it may get unwelcome attention from passersby and the police. Quote Link to comment

I've got the same problem with the website, seems like the trouble starts when all Americans get up in the morning. That is: no problems until after dinnertime here in Norway. Quote Link to comment
