Deego
Its been a few weeks since Seasider became the first UK 1k cacher. But with his help I have put together a small web article on his 1000 finds. This includes Seasider's top 10's and some questions and answer's. The article can be found Here. Also, can I just remind anyone who wants to enter for Cacher of The Month that the closing date for the March table is the end of the week (16th). Please send them in asap Brian (Deego) Quote Link to comment
+OzGuff
Thanks to Seasider (for sharing his thoughts on 1000 caches) and to Deego (for cataloguing them for us). It was interesting reading!! Quote Link to comment
+John Stead
Thank you Brian and John - I've just spent half hour reading that diary and reliving some of my own experiences. I've learned a lot from Seasider. Quote Link to comment
+Rocky Balboa
Nice 1! but i'm now wondering how my cache made its way into a white room and posed for a pic on a table top!!! Quote Link to comment
+stu_and_sarah
Great work both of you. I now have a new scheme for planning caching trips... Cheers, Stu Quote Link to comment
Deego
Nice 1! but i'm now wondering how my cache made its way into a white room and posed for a pic on a table top!!! Just glad I did not go looking for it that day Also thanks for the comments on the article. Its the first article that I have done. We had a few emails flying backwards and forwards so thanks to Seasider for his patience. Brian Edited April 12, 2004 by Deego Quote Link to comment

+Simply Paul
Brilliant, entertaining reading, fascinating stats and honest opinions. Who could ask for more? Congratulations to all involved! Now, what about a book? Dave Gorman hasn't cornered the market on strange adventures I'm sure. (For those who don't know, Dave travelled the world meeting 54 other Dave Gormans [Gormen?] and got involved in Googlewhacking. Go look on Amazon!) I'm sure there's more than enough material for a slim volume. SP Quote Link to comment
+dogastus
I'd like to add my thanks to Brian and John. It made really interesting reading and it was great to see the various rankings of the top caches. I now know that there are a lot more caching experiences waiting to be had out there. Thanks again guys. Quote Link to comment
sidewallwolf
Brilliant article, I've just spent 45 minutes reading it. So when's the next major one, when Slytherin and The Hornet get there? Jamie Quote Link to comment
+wigglesworth
Really good article and insight into how others plan their cache days. Our planning is on the light side and sometimes does not even involve detailed maps. Peter Quote Link to comment

+Seasider
All credit to Deego for the article - it involved a lot of hard work on his part in coming up with the questions and webmastering my list of top 10's! Hope the next 1000 caches are as good as my first 1000! Cheers! Seasider Quote Link to comment
+Postie
Just spent an enjoyable time reading Seasider’s exploits. Well done Deego for sorting it out. Nice to see I managed to stump Seasider at one cache, by moving it the day before!! I must be psychic Quote Link to comment
+thirtyfootscrew
Cheers for the article, a nice entertaining read. I particularly liked the awards section and I'll be doing pheasibility studies to work out which ones I can manage and when! Quote Link to comment
+Seasider
Brilliant article, I've just spent 45 minutes reading it. So when's the next major one, when Slytherin and The Hornet get there? Jamie I think Deego is planning one a month to be published with the cacher of the month table - but I guess that depends on the amount of his spare time available!! Cheers! Deego
Spare time !! Whats that then I have ideas for a few smaller articles soon.
