Jeremy
I was surfing the recent photos in the gallery and came across this cute image (photo links to log). Question: How many others use stuffed animals or other objects in their own photos to represent themselves? Edited April 8, 2004 by Jeremy Quote Link to comment
+AmishHacker
I really do not use a object in the photo but edit the photo to represent me. Quote Link to comment

MOCKBA
you must be unfamiliar with the Moomin Trolls in WA, huh? They are more often made of clay than of fluffy materials AFAIK. I have a few as refrigerator magnets, and a few more on the mugs, of course not counting the books. Which makes a great question: the MTs are avid travellers ... are there any themed caches? Coords of Moomin Valley and of the Comet Shelter Cave, anyone? Edited April 8, 2004 by MOCKBA Quote Link to comment
MOCKBA
Coords of Moomin Valley and of the Comet Shelter Cave, anyone? Oh, what a silly question. Since the referenced log was made by Mumin and Snork themselves, I just had to look into their stats. Here is where the Comet was id'd and this must be the shelter Quote Link to comment
+JMBella
Nope. I just always take a photo of myself for the logs. Quote Link to comment

Jeremy
Most will agree that most children are characters in their own right. Quote Link to comment
+Webfoot
Question: How many others use stuffed animals or other objects in their own photos to represent themselves? Well, I guess I qualify for this one. Quote Link to comment
+JMBella
Very true. In that case... Lots of people use dogs to represent them too. And speaking of animals, I heard there's a real wacko that uses a purple pony. Quote Link to comment
+JMBella
I heard that NJ Admin uses this character to represent him in his logs. Quote Link to comment

Dinoprophet
Which makes a great question: the MTs are avid travellers ... are there any themed caches? Coords of Moomin Valley and of the Comet Shelter Cave, anyone? See this thread. The coordinates for the island in Moominpappa at Sea are right in the book. I was beginning to think I was the only cacher who knew the books! I've been planning a cache called "The Hobgoblin's Hat" but my location may no longer be usable. On topic, I sign with my avatar, but I don't use it in pictures. Edited April 9, 2004 by Dinoprophet Quote Link to comment

+Team GPSaxophone
I've seen little blue men at some of the caches I've been to. Not sure what it means. I think this one was cold: This one ate the food: Quote Link to comment

Question: How many others use stuffed animals or other objects in their own photos to represent themselves? I assume this is a picture from the Swedish users "Mumin & Snorkfröken", they are always using these kind of toys at log pictures, also for spoilers for their own caches. I know of a nearby geocacher that uses the tiger from Winnie the Pooh as a toy figure at all geocaching photos. I think it is cute... Unfortunally can't I find an animal that looks like me: lazy, fat, bold, big mouth, small ears, scary, un-friendly... Or perhaps a crocodile looks like me? Quote Link to comment

+Bo & Elisabeth
There are also some people that don't use objects to represent them, but instead dress up when going on a cache hunt. We have at least one geocacher in Sweden practising that. He's apersson850 and he can look like this:. Look in his gallery ! Quote Link to comment
