magellan315
I may be in Las Vegas in late May on busines and I would like to turn it into a caching vacation. My concern is that it will be to hot to do anything, even if I carry enough water to keep me going. Can anyone who lives in the area give me an opinion. Especially the expected temperatures. mikeh420
After seeing a few late spring concerts in LV, I remember the temps being in the 90s, maybe 100°, cool for local standards! Bring lots of water. Quote Link to comment
+longwalker
Temps in Las Vegas in late May seldom get to triple digits. Many of the locals cache all year around. During summer many like to go at night, I for one haven't been very good at night caching. I would suggest get an early start and plan to stop before Noon. Of course I don't follow that advise myself, but I have lived here for 40 years. Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
For caching in May just have plenty to drink and PLENTY of sunscreen. You might want to do most of the caching mornings and evenings. From noon to 6pm can be pretty warm out there. Have fun. John Quote Link to comment
