+cactus8
How do I resize photos down to the 100 kb limit when they show up as 200 kb to 300 kb after dowload from digital camera? I knew my poor PC skills was going to come back and bite me. Quote Link to comment
+jhwf44
There are two things I can think of that you could do: 1: Set your camera so it does not take such high quality pictures (if your camera can do this) 2: (This is what I prefer to do) Open the picture in a program and do a "Save as" to a different file type which is smaller. I commonly save mine to the .jpg type, and it asks me how high I want the quality, so I can then determine how big the file size will be. What program do you use for viewing your pictures? Let me know and I might be able to specifically to tell you how to do it...hope I was of help!!! Quote Link to comment
Team Grayrun
Irfanview is an easy to use program for this purpose -- and it's free. See this thread: images Gary // Team Grayrun In a split second, all your priorities change. Quote Link to comment
+nyisutter
I got mine to resize by lowering the resolution and the quality of the picture. My problem is that when I upload the picture, all I got was a blank square on the page. What do I need to do to fix that? Quote Link to comment
+jhwf44
Hmm...that's strange...what type of picture file are you uploading? Try .jpg if you haven't yet...they seem to work best. Maybe you put the resolution or quality too far down. Quote Link to comment
