Geocache Island

You are stranded on Geocache Island.

You will be rescued someday.

For all intents and purposes, there are an unlimited number of caches.

The island is abundant with food and fresh water.

You are packing the new Gargellian 420 which is not only fully solar powered but also has an integrated MP3 player.

Prior to your arrival the island was inhabited by "The Professor".

Using coconut shells and palm fronds, he constructed a primitive Internet connection.

Unfortunately, coconut shells and palm fronds yield a very limited bandwidth and duration.

You may download only three songs.

I would DL any 3 songs by Metallica. Their lawyers would promptly show up and arrest me. Thus, facilitating my rescue.

 

Otherwise I would use the bandwidth to log my caches. The numbers are more important than being rescued.

I would DL three different tracks off of one of those "sounds of nature" cd's. All of them having something to do with surf crashing into the rocks to go with the whole island theme.

I'd wait until a beautiful caching partner washed up on shore and down load her three songs. If she's not romanticaly inclined it's going to be one heck of a long stay on that island. Hedging my bet would be the way to go.
