+idratherbehiking
I have seen lots of different, very clever camo jobs around my area. But, I really can't talk about them because that would give away too much info and ruin the challenge for future cachers. We have a few cachers in this area that are downright evil in their camo techniques but that is one of the reasons this is such a great area for geocaching. It's not just the same old ammo cans all the time. Quote Link to comment
AC Student
The best I've seen were very cleverly disguised to look like a branch on a tree. One was particularly good - I may never have found it but I rested my hand on it while I leaned over to examine a possible hiding spot and the "branch" rotated from my weight. Quote Link to comment
+Shanediver
The most clever I have come across was a fake electrical outlet. I wouldn't have thought to look there, but my FOUR YEAR OLD pointed it out to me. I guess she's the REAL radar behind my finds! Quote Link to comment
+wray_clan
A fake sprinkler & pinecone with caches inside were pretty good. Just interested, why is there a heart at the top of the first post? Quote Link to comment
+cachecrazies
Most any of nonnipoppies or griswolds caches in Clarksville/Russellville, Arkansas are excellent! Frustrating, mind-boggling and very satisfying when you FINALLY find them! Evil, demonic and sadistic are frequently used to describe them! Quote Link to comment
